NT Virus Detection

Windows NT Virus Protection Support

Protecting Your NT Network With The Domain Manager

The eTrust Anti-Virus Domain Manager lets you group servers into logical units called Anti-Virus Domains. Server virus protection management can be done at the domain level, so that information entered once applies to all the servers in the domain. Servers can also be managed individually within a domain.

Anti-Virus Domains

Enabling the Domain Manager

There are only a few steps that must be taken to ensure network protection. Briefly, these steps are as follows:

bulletGroup the desired NT machines into Anti-Virus domains.

bulletConfigure and start up eTrust's Real-time Monitor for each domain.
This immediately protects your network from new virus infections.

bulletScan the entire network to locate any viruses that may have infected your machines before real-time monitoring was enabled.

bulletSchedule full domain scans to run at a regular interval.
